Southern Kingfish Association New Owners Announced

The founders of PointClickFish.com, a digital media and live events company, have purchased the Southern Kingfish Association (SKA).  Brothers Jay and Price Feimster have owned and operated PointClickFish.com for ten years and are no strangers to the fishing industry. They have produced live coverage and content for over 220 Saltwater Fishing tournaments in the billfish, kingfish, redfish and charity event markets from Virginia to Mississippi. Their digital media company works with, and represents, some of the biggest names and tournaments in the fishing industry.

“Price and I are looking forward to continuing the SKA legacy that was started in 1991 and making exciting changes to help the sport grow” said Jay Feimster, co-owner of the SKA. The ownership change will not impact pre-scheduled tournaments or operations. The Feimster brothers added that over the next two weeks their team will be making some announcements including an updated 2019 tournament trail as well as new partner tournaments/series and sponsors.

The SKA headquarters now will be located in Morehead City, North Carolina.  As with any new leadership acquiring an Association, new changes and formats will be introduced throughout the year.  “Our immediate goal is simple; we want to focus on the anglers, tournaments, sponsors, and support of the SKA Tournament trail”, said Price Feimster, co-owner of the SKA.

Mark your calendars for the 2019 Southern Kingfish Association Nationals that will take place April 16-18, 2020, in Fort Pierce, Florida. Jay and Price Feimster say that they are looking forward to seeing you on the Kingfish Trail.
