124 total teams registered in Pompano Beach for the 20th annual Bluewater Movements Saltwater Shootout.  With more than 75 ways to win, the Saltwater Shootout has plenty to offer.  Here are some of the highlights.

Top SKA Lady Angler was Pam Kalil from REEL SYNERGY. Top Female angler for the tournament was Barbara Lange from SLOB CITY. 

Top SKA Junior Anglers for the tournament were 1^st) Hunter Irvine from team YOUNG GUNS, 2^nd), and 3^rd) Brian Miller from REEL LINE.  Jack-Ryan Naumann from KERI-N-ON. 

In the Small Boat division, 2 of the top 3 teams were SKA.  1^st place THE PROGRAM, and 3^rd place MACDADDY. 

Team CONTAGIOUS won $2,000 from Bluewater Movements for landing the biggest king by an SKA team, a 45.4 pound smoker.  They scored an additional $5,333 for 1^st place in the Holy Mackerel TWT. 

The payout for the KDW TWT was nearly $49,860.  Living Water/Shockwave was the only team to find all 3 species and they took home the Jackpot.  Congratulations!

The “Pick 3” TWT was $21,240.  This Jackpot is determined by a random drawing the morning of checkout from the 5 eligible species (King, Dolphin, Wahoo, Cobia, and Tuna).  This time the 3 picks were Cobia, Wahoo, and Kingfish.  No teams were able to find a Cobia to weigh in, so this Jackpot will be even bigger at Leg 2- The Saltwater Slam- next month!
