Fourchon, Louisiana - Jim Vaughan’s Old Blue team struggled in
Key West due to fuel problems. “It’s very frustrating to come out of
there with just a 24 pound king,” said Vaughan. However, the Yamaha
powered Yellowfin team kept up with the field in Jensen Beach.
“We went to Fourchon to redeem ourselves four days early,” Vaughan

Jensen Beach, Florida - At the end of day one of the Yamaha
Professional Kingfish Tour in Jensen Beach a pair of 50’s adorned the
top of the leader board. I reminded the large spectator crowd and our
webcast viewers that it was only halftime and watch out for the teams
who weighed fish in the thirties or low forties tomorrow. This was
after all an aggregate tournament. It was the truth and while I

Key West, FL— If you were to check Andre Moore’s bank account on Monday, the day
after the opening event of the Yamaha Professional Kingfish Tour, you
would find an extra $40,000 just deposited.
Andre, his wife Kim Bain Moore, Greg Watts, and Glyn Austin won the
event on Sunday with a spectacular 55.35 which was the biggest king
scaled this weekend. That king coupled with the 36.68 caught on
Saturday gave the Crikey team, fishing an Evinrude powered Invincible,
a two fish aggregate of 92.03, nearly ten pounds better than the second
place team.
*Captains who fished the FLW Pro Tour in 2008, will be eligable to fish the 2009 Yamaha Pro Tour. (This exemption does not include anyone who is not eligible to fish in any SKA sanctioned events.)
