Senator Charles Schumer (D-NY) lit up the crowd with his speech and announcement that he is sponsoring companion legislation to the Flexibility in Rebuilding American Fisheries Act in the Senate.

Congressman Frank Pallone Jr. (D-NJ) co-sponsor of the House legislation along with Congressman Walter B Jones (NC-R).

Senator Scott Brown (R- MA) will be a co-sponsor of the Senate bill. He called out NOAA Fisheries for being corrupt and unaccountable during his speech. (NOAA – No One is Accountable to Anyone).

Congressman Alan West (R-FL) addressed the crowd and will be a house co-sponsor.

Almost 2 dozen legislators addressed the crowd and spoke in support of fixing the Magnuson Act during the three hour rally. Some stayed after to address some of their constituents directly.
