The SKA Staff arrived in Biloxi late Sunday afternoon. Monday morning they gathered at the Palace Casino Resort and got down to business. One team worked to construct and launch the floating docks while another team assembled and packed 297 captain’s bags full of great kingfishing products. The bags will be given out, one to each team, at registration which begins Wednesday at noon. Each team must send a representative to check in at registration and receive a boat number and captain’s bag. Wednesday hours are noon to five o’clock and Thursday hours are ten in the morning until 5:30.
The floating docks go in.
The Captain’s bags are filled with gear.
Tuesday night, all are invited to play poker or blackjack at the Isle of Capri.
The weather is chilly, but not too bad, and it looks like the week is shaping up for a great tournament! Jack, Deona, and all the staff on site extend a warm welcome to the 2008 SKA National Championship. See you at the scales!
