North Carolina Governor Easley vetoes N.C. House Bill H2167

Everyone please forward the following form letter to N.C. Congressmen

After H2167 passed the North Carolina House and Senate by a nearly unanimous vote, the N.C.'s lame duck governor vetoed the bill that would have allowed boats over 8'6" to be towed on N.C. state roads after dark, on weekends and holidays, stating that safety concerns from the NCHP as the reason for his decision. If Governor Easley had chosen not to sign the bill it would have automatically gone into effect today, August 18th.

All North Carolinians need to call or email your Representative or Senator TODAY and ask them to return to Raleigh and overturn Gov. Easley's veto of House Bill 2167!
