State your case clearly & succinctly. You support House Bill #2167 entitled "Towing of Recreational Boats/Exemption".

ASK THE GOVERNOR TO SUPPORT HB #2167 AND DO NOT VETO THE BILL.
OR JUST EMAIL THIS TO THE GOVERNOR:

1. Tourism and boating manufacturing are two great industries in eastern NC. We encourage tourists and sportsmen to come to our beautiful coast.

2. The recent activities of the NC Highway Patrol have created a "storm in the blogosphere" in which people are being discouraged from traveling to the coast of North Carolina from inland NC or other locations. We need your help.

3. Commercial and recreational boaters have excellent safety records in North Carolina. There is no safety crisis. Actually, the wider boats have a better safety record.

4. The NC General Assembly is trying to help us. Please do not stand in their way on this issue
