NC PUBLIC FORUM ON THE TRANSPORTATION OF OVERSIZE COMMERCIAL AND RECREATIONAL BOATS

North Carolina

From Lt. Everett Clendenin North Carolina Department of Crime Control and Public Safety:

The Highway Patrol will conduct a public forum on Monday, April 21st discussing the rules and regulations of transporting oversize recreational and commercial boats on North Carolina highways.

The forum will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. at the Warwick Center, located on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, 601 South College Rd. Wilmington, N.C.

Al Morris has spent a lot of time putting this forum together for our benefit! there will be at least four representatives from the state legislature to hear our concerns and to see how state laws can be changed to help us. This is a major issue!!!! There is room for 400 people and Al said that if we are to have any impact or representation we must fill the auditorium. Tell your friends, other SKA members, boat dealers, tackle store operators, and anyone who's interested that we will be there, but your presence is critical.

!!!!!!!!! Spread the word !!!!!!!!!
