5 Shimano TLD ML 70R rods

Medium light, all rollered, 7 ft. rods, 8-20 lb. line recommended. Have 5 of them that were used only in tournaments, have 6 of the same unrollered blanks, that I use for Charters and personal use. These blanks have stiff butts with a soft tip, use 15 lb. line in the Atlantic and 20 lb. in the Gulf. Baits live the longest with these soft tips.

Caught 2 50s on these rods in tournaments, one in the Gulf and one in the Atlantic. On the same unrollered blank caught a 60 plus pre-fishing for the Nationals that we won in 2005 in the Atlantic. The unrollered rods are not for sale.

$925 gets you the best blanks Shimano ever made for pulling live bait and a new Trinidad 30, that has the best drag on the market.

About 6 years ago, at the request of Shimano, shipped a rod to them, they returned the rod, no comment and never made the rod.
