A message from Jack Holmes:

DISCUSSION NUMBER ONE:

We would like every member this year to rate the tournaments you fish. Obviously, you have a favorite tournament and we certainly want you to tell us what makes it your favorite. But what we’re really after is what you really like about a certain event and vice-versa.  If we can make events better, we will. If we can eliminate bad things about events, all the better.

Rate the events on a one to ten scale, ten being the best.  This will be a year-long discussion. Please don’t rate the event you fish untill after the event is over.

The one thing we’re not interested in is comments about payouts. We know some events keep too much money and we’re looking at that. We also know that events are strapped for sponsors due to the economy. We are looking at every event and will adjust our schedule accordingly.

Please remember that we advocate paying out one place for every ten entries. Events must take into account for the class of 23 boats in that payout schedule. Keeping ten percent for the charity or promoter is the norm.

The Southern Kingfish Association is the most successful Saltwater Tournament Organization in the country. That’s because of you and your efforts to keep your organization pointed in the right direction. We always appreciate your comments.

DISCUSSION NUMBER TWO:
